Welcome Letter

To our Brothers and Guests,

My name is Daniel "Furby" Yee, Lambda Phi Epsilon conventionchairman for 2008. This letter is addressed to all of our brothers ofLambda Phi Epsilon and guests informing you that our annual NationalConvention is scheduled for May 23 - May 26 and is in Chicago, IL.

This year, our National Convention will be held at the HyattRegency McCormick Place. It is the first time the event will be held inthe Midwest and we welcome you to come out and experience first handour true Midwest hospitality.

First and foremost, our goal for Convention 2008 will be togather all members of Lambda Phi Epsilon in order to conduct ourbusiness. Brothers from everywhere in the United States and Canadawill be gathered to not only determine the next steps at this criticalpoint but also to celebrate the culmination of 27 years of dedicationand hard-work. We have a mantra here, "Work hard, Play harder," and Ipromise you that is exactly what will happen during this weekend.

We do realize that many of you are busy with school and familiesbut convention is an event that happens only once a year. I can assureyou that we will do everything we can so that this year's convention inChicago will be something you will talk about in the years to come.With that said, I would like to formally invite you to attend ourNational Convention of 2008. We look forward to seeing you there.

Professional Workshop

This year we are introducing the Professional Workshop. We will be bringing in many extremely successful alumni to speak about their respective professions, and to help the younger brothers expand their knowledge of the professional world. Resume workshops will be available as well.

Showcase

In addition to the brotherhood showcase, this year's banquet showcase will be open to any groups who wish to perform. Any chapters or groups that wish to perform at either showcase must register here.

Hotel

The convention hotel is the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place. We are offering a huge discounted rate this year. We reccomend you make reservations as soon as possible, as the hotel sells out on this weekend every year. Click here to find out more.

Chicago

This is the first year that convention has come to the midwest, and it will be hosted in none other than the beautiful city of Chicago. Everything from tourism to airports to transportation to good eats can all be found here.
